With the economic recovery in full swing, opportunities abound. It’s time once again for CGA Ontario’s annual conference — the premier professional development event of the year. Conference 2010 is a “can’t miss” opportunity to advance your skills, share your expertise and network with your fellow CGAs. As always, this year’s program offers innovative and interactive discussions on the most important issues that face CGAs today. We’ve scheduled an even wider variety of sessions than last year, so you’ve got more choice than ever before.

This year’s keynote address will be given by Porter Airline’s CEO, Robert Deluce, and individual sessions will cover a wide range of topics including HST, international financial reporting standards (IFRS), social networking in the business world and much, much more. For fun, we’ve got art exhibits, morning runs and the new member reception.

We have lined up our most impressive roster of speakers ever, a group that includes popular author and entrepreneur Garth Turner, past favourites such as Diane Gaudon, CGA, and Bob Forsyth, FCGA, and sure-to-be new favourites such as author Tony White and award-winning, certified speaking professional Michael Kerr. Last year’s popular panel discussions return this year, as well.
